When Michael's (James Holzier) mother dies he is forced to move in with his aunt and uncle. Although faced with the decision he tries to make the best of it, but his uncle is always on his case. Michael is never good enough to please his uncle.

One day Michael meets a girl that allows him to open up and explore what he is and what he is all about. This girl, however, seems to have everything , but deep inside she too is suffering from a long hidden secret.

Through self-awareness and realization, the young couple grow very fond of each other and eventually are able to not only open up to their full potential, but beyond.

Each finds in themselves the secrets they have long been looking for and the purpose of being part of something special, to themselves and to others.
